Webb Construction Group is a SDVOSB General Construction firm with decades of experience, performing quality construction services in the government market.
Our construction team is led by Chairman Charles Webb, a service disabled veteran with over 50 years of experience in the construction industry, providing us with a deep well of hard-earned wisdom and expertise.
We have executed MATOC IDIQ multi-year contracts for USACE, DPW and the Alabama National Guard. We have completed numerous projects on Fort Benning, Georgia, and Fort Rucker, Alabama, and have performed contracts across the Southeast for the Army, National Guard and NASA.
Building 74 is an 80-year-old 3-story structure plus a full utility basement located in the historic preservation district on Main Post, Fort Benning. The building, although in use, had not been renovated in over 40 years. Webb completed the gutting and reconstruction of the building to meet all modern life safety, handicap access and LEED certifications. The building was also reconfigured to function as the Company Operations Facility for the NCOA School on Fort Benning.
Our contract included a complete demolition of all interior partitions, roofing, finishes, fenestration, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, electrical and communications.
All exterior doors and windows were replaced with historically accurate, force protection, blast resistant doors and windows. The exterior wall system was structurally enhanced; extensive steel was added for structural support; all plumbing, mechanical, fire protection and electrical systems were replaced; and new life enhancements were included with new public facilities and access allowing for handicap accessibility.
